The Sha and Pandas!

So I updated my Character section with a new Illustration!I've decided the direction of work that I'd love to dive into. I absolutely want to stay in the game industry and I thinkdoing something like illustrations for trading cards andwhatnot is where I'm most inspired!

So here is a breakdown of my work flow for 'The Sha'. Based of the World of Warcraft Lore.
When I started this Image all I really knew I wanted to paint was a Pandaren. LOL. So I messed aroundwith the idea of Horde characters in there, then I changed to the path of bringing some of the PandarenLore with the Sha. Basically in short it is their version of the evil energies that are in the earth.

By the time it was all said and done I finally felt like I had a cohesive piece. Haha!Overall I like the direction it took, and like always I learn tricks that make me faster!

Spending this Sunday doing some quick environment speed paintings. Will probably go back in and detail it. Trying to make sure I have all the lighting and composition and feel of the painting done within the first 20 mins of starting it! :D
